I am an independent workplace investigator specialising in complex, sensitive and high-risk workplace matters. I conduct Independent, evidence-led workplace investigations involving senior misconduct, whistleblowing, bullying, harassment, discrimination and other sensitive workplace concerns, involving:-
My career has given me a distinctive perspective on workplace investigations. I am legally trained with an LLB (Hons), hold an MSc in Human Resource Management, am a Chartered Member of the CIPD, and an Accredited Workplace Mediator.
Before specialising in independent investigations, I spent many years working at senior level in employee relations, advising organisations on complex workplace matters, employment risk and difficult people decisions. That experience shaped the way I investigate today.
I understand that behind every investigation are people, working relationships and an organisation that needs confidence in both the process and the eventual findings. I have also seen how quickly a poorly handled grievance, misconduct allegation or whistleblowing concern can damage trust, workplace culture and organisational reputation.
I founded Investigations Work to provide organisations with experienced, independent support when workplace matters become too complex, sensitive or high-risk to manage comfortably in-house.
I am accustomed to stepping into difficult situations where emotions may be heightened, accounts conflict and the consequences matter. Whether I am interviewing employees, engaging with trade union representatives or working with HR, Legal and senior leaders, I bring the same approach: calm, impartial and evidence-led.
I listen carefully, ask the difficult questions when necessary and analyse the evidence with rigour. My role is not to advocate for either side or to reach a predetermined conclusion. It is to establish what the evidence supports and provide decision-makers with a clear, balanced and defensible investigation report.
My experience spans commercial, professional-services, public-sector, healthcare and other complex organisational environments, including highly regulated and reputationally sensitive workplaces.
That breadth of experience means I understand not only how to conduct an investigation, but also the organisational context in which difficult workplace decisions ultimately have to be made.
If you’re dealing with a workplace issue and would benefit from independent guidance, please get in touch to discuss how I can support you. You can reach me on 07976 429524 or via the contact form.
